The accelerated review course is an intensive three to four-day program that requires the student to study the course material in advance. This fast-paced method combines the independence of self-study with the benefits of working in a classroom with an expert instructor and your colleagues. Accelerated review courses are offered through BOMA-sponsored classrooms in most major Canadian cities.
- Instructors available for questions
- Excellent for establishing a network
- Excellent for courses where you're not that familiar with the content
- Is the preferred option for your first course if it has been some time since you last took a college level or higher course
Accelerated Review Procedures
To ensure that you have sufficient time to study your course material in advance, you should be registered at least 30 days before the first day of class. The accelerated review class provides an intensive review of the course material. You can schedule your exam to be immediately following your classroom session or you can wait to take the exam and provide yourself with more study time following the accelerated review session.
To register for an accelerated review course you must register through the BOMA Local unless otherwise indicated.
The prices for an accelerated review course vary across Canada based on their cost of delivering the courses. Refer to the accelerated course schedule for details.
BOMA Locals across Canada offer the BOMI courses in a classroom delivery format. Not all courses will be offered during the year through the BOMA locals and the number of classes offered through a BOMA local will vary depending upon the size of the local. The larger the BOMA local, the more likely that there will be more than one course offered throughout the year.
Check the calendar on the home page for dates and details or contact your BOMA local directly.
